GEORGE A WILES, AIA

Born and raised in Bridgeport, CT, George Wiles, is a first generation architect and designer in his family. He attended Bridgeport Public Schools, and as the years passed, while taking care of his family of five, put himself through college. After graduating from Pratt Institute in NY, George Wiles passed his Architectural Exams and after practicing architecture under another for a few years he soon opened his own firm. George Wiles not only practices in the city that he calls home, he also makes contributions to the city and its youth. He participates in various charitable foundations as well as partnering with Bullard Havens Technical High School to shadow with architectural students. George Wiles chose Bullard Havens Technical high school not only because of their architectural program but becuase it was the high school that he graduated from in the early 1960s. George Wiles makes advancements in designs and in his community as well!

Established in 1972 by George Wiles, this architectural firm is located Bridgeport’s Stratfield Historic District, which Wiles+Architects helped organize. Emerging as an award winning design firm focusing on  improving public architecture concentrating on Education, Community Centers, Multi-Housing, Commercial and Interior Architecture. With over 40 years of experience Wiles+Architects' Claims credit over some of the best designs in Fairfield county as well as other communities.

THE WILES' TEAM

Wiles Architects has always been a small business in the city of Bridgeport. The firm's team is headed by licensed architect George Wiles, who makes it his mission to ensure that his office is as diverse as it is successful. Over the years our staff has included many people of many educational, ethnic, and age backgrounds.
