Parish Court Elderly Housing Modernization
Existing thirty year old,110 Unit Elderly Living complex completely gutted and updating of all Living Units and Community Room. Logistical challenge to complete renovations while all units remained occupied. Updating consisted of new Kitchens, Bathrooms, & ADA compliant units. Heating systems removed and high energy efficiency systems installed. Site Lighting and way finding graphics installed though-out the site.
Existing out dated institutional looking room redesigned to appealing space for community activities. The Community Room became a key component of resident's increased use for gathering and a renewed sense of community.

Park City Supportive & Elderly
Adaptive reuse project. Abandon former Park City Hospital converted into 120 Living Units of Supportive& Elderly Living. Six Story concrete frame structure presented extreme" rubix cube" unit layout challenges. Functional layout was achieved by embracing current geriatric design concept of creating smaller units and larger gathering spaces located on every floor to encourage interaction of residents. An inviting Dining Room augments the underlying design theme of community.
A New Paradigm in Affordable Housing
Essential to this is the reconsideration of the contemporary nature of Affordable Housing, which requires an emphasis on lifestyle and a manifestation of architecture that is programatically mixed, integrated and flexible.
