The existing Center is located on 15 acres of wooded land that gently slopes down to a splendid pond that will be used as a biolab. The existing Arts & Nature Center has become one of most popular Centers in the area providing a wide variety of children’s and adult Art & Nature programs. The goal of the Center is to give young people and adults a renewed consciousness of nature by hands on encounters with plants, water and many creative activities and programs. As a result, the Trumbull Arts & Nature Center has need for more building space. Our design theme is essentially, bringing nature indoors by creating rooms and spaces based upon the natural resources of the site.
