Wiles+Architects’ design for Black Rock Church creates a fully integrated, 950-seat, two-story Worship Center complemented by Children’s and Youth areas, a Welcome Center Coffee Lounge, chapel, multipurpose rooms, and supporting offices. The project thoughtfully responds to sensitive wetlands and a protected vernal pool while enabling multiple programs to operate simultaneously through a fully automated, responsive HVAC system. Building on this success, Wiles+Architects later added second-floor offices, education spaces, and youth recreation areas, and in 2025, expanded the chapel to meet the campus’s evolving needs.
