The Owner of Wag Central reached out to Wiles Architects to transform the prior Encon Building into a fabulous indoor dog park, boarding, & grooming facility. Wag Central includes an indoor playground, indoor pool, out door washable turf, a viewing room, commercial kitchen, a store, grooming stations, self grooming stations, a party room, boarding rooms, and so much more! Wag Central is modern & stylish to the human eye, but fun & comfortable to your canine companion!

Essex Agri-Science Center

   Agricultural Technical High School | Hathorne, MA

Essex Agri Sci existing program was housed in several old pre World War II structures converted from a working farm located on 300 arces. The design assignment attached.The design assignment made a commitment captor the essence of a working New England Farmstead while achieving the complex educational requirements of the Essex Agr-Sci Program. The Essex Agri-Sci Farmstead consists of five individual, buildings each encompassing a special Agri-Sci function. The Animal Science Building contains Dog Grooming, Vet Tech Center with X-ray & Surgical capabilities, and Exotic, Rodent, Fish Laboratories, in addition to an automated cage wash room. The existing Equine Barn has been full restored to board 15 horses with support Tack room and wash area. The Small Engine Laboratory Building houses the Natural Resources Management programs and storage of associated landscaping equipment. The Maintenance Garage Building contains all the large farm mechanism, tractors and equipment. The Livestock Barn houses small animals goats, lambs, etc. and large animals such as cow, & horses, as well as a Large Animal laboratory where large animal can be restrained for examination procedures and grooming.
 

Essex Agri- Science Program prepares High School students for agriculture as a science, business, and profession that requires many well-educated people to meet the demand for animal and plant specialists, conservationists, food technologists, environmental resource managers, engineers, veterinarians, entomologists, farm and forest managers, and many other agricultural professions.
